Meaning of ‘naad’ is resonance. While performing prayers of Hindu gods a sound is played. In that a drum called “nagada” is played and the resonating sound of that is called “naad”. The naad sound in ancient time used to inform all the people that the prayers are being performed so they can also offer the prayers to the divine.
